My very happy un-bridal shower was truly one of the most beautiful and creative days of my life. I fell into a rabbit hole of a surprise on Saturday, October 12th that only Lewis Carroll's imagination could have written. I walked into my Mad Hatter-themed bridal shower that was perfectly a wonderland!
It was hosted by a bunch of spectacular Mad Hatters. I spent the afternoon surrounded by my closest friends and family members in a room decorated with the most wonderland-est decor. There was an amazing dessert table, hilarious games, and splendid conversations over a cup of tea.

My top highlights of the day included:
The shock and surprise I felt when I realized I was attending my bridal shower and not a family party.
My mom's impromptu speech, after realizing she left her prepared one at home, then got herself too emotional to finish.
The incredible decor was inspired by my love for Alice in Wonderland, most specifically the Mad Hatter's Tea Party. It was complete with custom signs, desserts fit for the perfect tea time, and teacup favors.
Despite having an awful cold, I had a great time and enjoyed a safe meal the restaurant made specifically for me: seared salmon cooked in olive oil and scrambled eggs, using Vital Farms eggs my mom provided to them.
