Honey Garlic Salmon is the perfect addition to your Sunday dinner repertoire or a quick and flavorful weeknight meal.
Joe here, sharing what we made this Sunday when I took over the kitchen for a bit to whip up this fantastic dish. Our Honey Garlic Salmon recipe is not only bursting with flavor but it is incredibly easy to make. It's a perfect addition to your Sunday dinner repertoire or a quick and flavorful weeknight meal.
Before we jump into cooking, here are some tips to elevate your dish:
Salmon Selection: Choose thick-cut salmon fillets for even cooking and prevent over-drying.
Spice it Up!: Like a bit more heat? Add a pinch of chili flakes to the sauce for an extra kick.
Serving Ideas: Pair your honey garlic salmon with roasted vegetables like broccoli, asparagus, or Brussels sprouts for a healthy and satisfying meal. You can also serve it over brown rice or quinoa for a complete protein-packed dish. Amanda's favorite is to have it over turmeric rice and sauteed veggies.

Directions
Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season them generously with salt and pepper.
In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients.
Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the olive oil and swirl to coat the pan. Carefully place the salmon fillets, skin-side down (if using skin-on) in the hot skillet. Cook the salmon undisturbed for 4-5 minutes, or until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
Flip the salmon fillets carefully and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is just cooked through. While the salmon is cooking on this side, pour the prepared sauce and minced garlic into the pan. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer until the salmon is cooked, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.
Carefully transfer the salmon fillets to a plate. Spoon the delicious honey-garlic sauce over the top. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped scallions (optional) and place the lemon wedges on the plate for a beautiful and flavorful presentation.
