It is difficult to avoid getting sick in the winter. It is even more difficult getting rid of a cold when caught, especially if you have food allergies. After long hours of research and experiments, I came up with homemade Get Well remedies for people with multiple food allergies who are also struggling to find store-bought medicines.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a medical professional. Please speak to your doctor before trying any new remedies or products suggested in this post.

Cleanse Your Glands

If you feel a sore throat coming on, mix 1 teaspoon of sea salt into warm water and gargle with it. You can also opt to gargle with apple cider vinegar. Only do these three times a day.

Stay Hydrated!

Staying hydrated is crucial when you’re under the weather. Drink plenty of water and herbal teas throughout the day. Green tea with lemon and honey is a soothing choice that can help alleviate symptoms.

To support your immune system and energy levels, consider swapping your morning coffee for black tea. It’s a healthier alternative that can provide a gentle caffeine boost.

Remember to limit alcohol and coffee, as these can dehydrate you and worsen symptoms.

Stay warm and feel better!
